HE GOT IT!!

I just wanted to let everyone know that MICHAEL GOT THE APPRENTICESHIP AT SRP!!!! Oh my gosh i am so excited for him! He is so great and I know he will do so good in his Apprenticeship! They called him this morning while he was at work and gave him the fantastic news! They are not even done doing the 2nd round of interviews but they were so impressed with him yesterday they called and said they wanted him!! Anyways that's all I have time to post right now but I love my husband so much!!! Michael you're amazing!! Muah!

Today is my sister LuAnne's Birthday! I just wanted to make sure to let her know that we are thinking about you and love you! Some of my favorite things about her are she is always smiling! No matter what! She gets along with EVERYONE! I mean EVERYONE! I can't think of one person she does not get along with! She has so many friends, and everyone just loves her! I have always looked up to her and been jealous :)! And on top of all that she is so SKINNY and cute! Even after 2 kids she looks amazing! She is a great mom, wife, sister and most of all friend! She is always there for me, expecially when I need to complain! :) We love you Lu! Happy Birthday! Go spoil yourself! You're awesome!

I HATE waiting....

Just an update... Michael had the last day of his climbing class today! He did the physical test yesterday and the written test today! He feels like he did really great! When they went over the answers for the written test, Michael found out he got 100%! It sounds like he had a really good week and he is in the top of his group! He will have an interview on Tuesday and then we will know later in the week if he got the apprenticeship or not! We are really excited! Either way though he did really great and I'm proud of him! We will let you all know next week how it goes!

What a Fun Weekend!

So this weekend we had all my family down here in the Valley with us! It was SO much fun! I have one of the coolest families ever! It can get pretty crazy when we are all together! I was so sad when they had to leave on Sunday! We celebrated Mother's Day, Lu's Birthday, Aiden's Birthday, and Natalie and William running in the State Track Meet! It was a busy but fun weekend! Just another reason I LOVE you so much....

So I just wanted to blog a little to brag about my husband for a few minutes and update everyone on us! Michael had his first interview for the Line Apprenticeship at SRP last Tuesday and we got a call saying he advanced! They only took 24 guys and seeing that it is his first year with them, he is doing really great! He (and the 23 other guys) have now been excepted into a climbing class that is a week long which will be the 12th through the 16th and then there will be 1 more interview! They are excepting 12 guys for an Apprenticeship this year, so they still have to cut it in half! I know Michael will do great though! So keep your fingers crossed for us and I'll let you guys know what happens! We should know by the end of May! That's the only thing that has really changed with us lately... nothing new!

Birthday and Promotion all in one!

So I am obviously not very good at this blogging thing but hopefully I get better! :) a lot has happened in our lives since our Anniversary, I just got a Promotion at Wells Fargo and am moving to the Ray and Cooper Branch on Tuesday! I am super nervous! :) But really excited all at the time! I also turned 20 today! WOW I am getting so old!! Michael is putting in Bids all over for his Line Apprenticeship so hopefully he will have a promotion in a week or two also! (Cross your fingers for us!) Everything is going really well for us! That's the only update for last few weeks so I will try to do better in the future! Peace!

Our 1st Year Anniversary in VEGAS!

Can You believe it has already been a year!! I know that we can't! We had so much fun on our Vegas Trip this last weekend celebrating our Anniversary! I wish we could have Anniversaries all the time! lol :) We left on Thursday the 6th of March and came back Monday the 10th of March! Here are some of the pics and stuff we did while we were there!

This is when we went and watched the dirty pirate hooker show out in front of Treasure Island! I couldn't believe what that show had turned into compared to the last time when I saw it, back when it really was a pirate show! lol

Friday night Michael took me out to a restaurant at the Bellagio called Olives! They sat us out on the balcony that overlooked the water show! It was SO romantic!! He did Good!:)

The food was GREAT! We will go back to visit Olives again for sure! After Dinner we headed over to the Wayne Brady comedy show! I don't think I have ever seen something so funny! He is HILARIOUS! We had a really good time at the show!

Saturday Night was even MORE amazing! We got all dressed up and went to The Top of the World Restaurant in the Stratosphere! It is on the 107th floor! The coolest part was the floor was slowly moving so you saw a full 360 degree view of all of Las Vegas! It was SO beautiful! One of the nicest Restaurants we have ever been to!

It was really Romantic and fun to really our pamper ourselves! I have the BEST husband ever! :)

After Dinner that night we headed over to Mandalay Bay for The Rascal Flatts concert! Talk about a party! It was one of the best concerts we have seen! We were really close this time and had the time of our life! We were rockin all night with these guys!

At the concert Rascal Flatts pulled a guy on stage and were saying they new him from way back when they were younger and yada yada yada.... Anyways they pull him and his girl friend on stage and tell them to take over, everyone was all confused when all of a sudden he proposed to her! It was really cute!

Kelly Pickler was the singer that opened for them, and after the concert we were walking around Mandalay Bay and we ended up running into her! She was coming out of a bar when we were walking by! We didn't even realize who she was at first! She was really nice! We were really excited about that! I think that is the first time either of us has just run into a celebrity like that! This trip was the best vacation we have ever been on! The suprises just kept coming!
